1968 Dodge Charger - Studio Render

The continuing progress of my 1968 Dodge Charger model with full interior detail, I've been trying my hand at studio lighting and I'm very pleased with the results but I would love to hear any and all feedback about either the model or the lighting. The next part of the project will be to make accurate materials and textures for the whole car.

The interior is actually only about 95% done, I still want to add seatbelts and stitching for the seats as well as refining a couple of other minor details. After that I will proceed to model the engine bay.

I've tried to highlight as much of the model detail with the studio lighting as I could, it's going to be interesting seeing how the car looks with proper paint in the next stage!

This render shows the vinyl roof and bumble bee stripes, I have future plans to make the model configurable with different parts that can be toggled with a simple menu.

I used a mix of different lights for the exterior, including some slightly warmer shades for the key light and cooler shades for the fill and back lighting.

This shot may be a little gratuitous but I just really like it 😁

The rear bumble bee stripes are modelled geo but it was quite a challenge to get them to sit nicely on top of the bodywork without clipping.

I'm going for a cinematic look here with the lighting and the camera angle.

The car has a fully modelled interior with separate gauges, switches and levers which can be posed and animated.

I am hoping to add seat stitching when I do the full material pass on this car.

The Charger has 4 interior lights, the main one in the ceiling, a maplight in the dashboard shroud as well as two more either side of the center console.
